Player development you can measure and prove

Design the assessments your club needs and keep the results out of spreadsheets and inside Majestri, where they become rankings, report cards and development plans. Built first for player development, it’s ready for talent identification and licence compliance too.

Why clubs run Player Assessment

Some clubs assess to develop players, others to pick teams, others because their licence requires it. Plenty do all three.

  • Player development

Use real assessment data to lift the playing level across your high-performance teams. It’s why most clubs assess in the first place, licensed or not, and where the biggest gains show up season to season.

  • Talent identification

Put every player on a measurable scale, so selection rests on evidence rather than hunches. The same numbers make it easy to see who’s ready to step up and who’s being overlooked.

  • Compliance

If your licence mandates assessments at set intervals, Player Assessment makes meeting them straightforward. It also keeps the evidence on hand for when you’re asked to produce it.

What your club gains

Assess your way, clipboard and all, then bring the results into Majestri and let it take care of the rest.

  • Assessment data lives on each player’s profile in Majestri, not in spreadsheets.
  • The data is owned by the club, so it doesn’t leave when technical staff move on.
  • Hard numbers to draw on when you review coaching staff and curriculum.
  • Something tangible for the players and parents who pay the fees.

Assessment Designer

No two clubs assess the same way, so nothing here comes fixed. Set your own criteria, group them into the categories your coaches already use, and decide what each band on the scale means. Leave room for a comment against every criterion, because the number rarely tells the whole story.

Once it’s built you reuse it every time that assessment comes around, and every player gets measured the same way.

Report Cards

Most families never see much back from a season of fees beyond a team photo. A report card is the thing that goes home, with the same numbers your coaches worked from, laid out so a parent can read them without a coaching badge.

  • Colour-coded against the same scale the assessment used, so nobody needs it explained
  • Grouped by category, with an average for each and one for the whole assessment
  • Delivered as a PDF or an interactive web page

Player Analysis Lab

This is where the assessment data starts earning its keep. Put a player next to their team-mates or a whole age group and you can see where they actually sit.

  • Plot the whole group on two categories at once, where clusters and outliers stand out
  • Read every score against the group average, so a 7 means something
  • Report at category level, or every field underneath
  • Choose which categories and fields count, then export for selection or grading

Also in Player Assessment

There’s a practical side to it as well, from chasing up the assessments that haven’t been done yet to deciding who gets to see the results.

  • Sweep monitoring. See at a glance which assessments have been completed and which are still outstanding. Assessments are organised into defined assessment periods, making it easy to compare each player’s progress with their peers.
  • Individual development plans. Give every player a personalised plan, and group common areas for improvement to plan cross-team training sessions that lift the whole club.
  • The right people, the right access. Technical staff and coaches can only enter and view assessments for the teams they are responsible for, while completed assessments are only visible to the people linked to each player’s registration. No one has access to more information than they need.
